Dimetapp Cough & Cold Kids 6 Years & Over 200mL

Dimetapp® Cough & Cold is a great tasting medicine for Children's common cold symptoms, with the added benefit of a cough suppressant, to relieve dry, irritating coughs.

It relieves the symptoms including:

• Nasal and sinus congestion
• Blocked/runny nose
• Itchy, watery eyes
• Sneezing
• Dry irritating cough

Dimetapp® Cough & Cold also comes in a colour free variety for those children who are sensitive to added colours.

Size: 200mL Oral Liquid

Ingredients

Each 5mL contains Active Ingredients: Brompheniramine Maleate 2mg, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg,  Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg

Also contains: Sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, alcohol, sorbitol (16.8g/40mL). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Directions

Children aged 6-12 years old: Take 5mL every 4 hours as necessary.
Maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours

Adults and Children over 12 years old: Take 10mL every 4 hours as necessary.
Maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours

Do not use in children under 6 years old. 

Dose may be taken with water or fruit juice.

Warnings

• Store below 30ºC
• Brompheniramine may cause drowsiness in some people. Be cautious about driving a vehicle or operating machinery within 8 hours of taking this medicine. If still affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• This product may cause sleeplessness.
• If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, or are accompanied by a fever discontinue use and consult a doctor.
• Do not use in children under 6 years old.
• Use in children aged 6 to 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.
• Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
